Anybody have any experience or heard at all about metal cloak suspension? They have one called the gamechanger, but its up there in cost around 4K. Is that just plain ridiculous or is it reasonable if I can afford it. I'm also assuming it would have everything I need for the suspension. I also assume I need to switch out the stock driveshaft. I'd be looking at their fender flares as well. I'm still new to Jeeping and don't have much mechanical experience, but I'm hoping to get something I'll stay with for some time.

I'm guessing the 3.5 which is a good lift for a jk. Highrlr's got a Clayton lift in his and he loves it.

Yeah, it's 3.5". Would plan on 37s with the flat fenders.

The game changer looks nice, but I would not be able to justify the money. I have not looked in a while, but I believe you can get the full Clayton kit for around $2k. I have had the 3.5 Clayton kit for over 2 years now and have done some descent and fairly frequent wheeling, all without issue. Their arms are super heavy duty square tube, rubber bushings on axle end, and Johnny joints on frame end. Their springs ride great, rear track bar bracket is bomb proof, and go with good shocks, bilstein or fox. I'm sure we could hold an install party!

Oh, front ds will need to be replaced, and since you have the 3.6, I think exhaust mods are needed. Rear shaft will work, but I would budget for a cv shaft eventually. Also plan on some front axle beef, c gussets, axle tubes, or a truss. TNT and artec both make really sweet trusses, the artec looks a little easier to install though. I also chewed through most all my stock front end parts on my first serious wheeling trip to the black hills, and that was on 35's. I am now running poly performance steering with 1ton GM tie rod ends, poly track bar and sector shaft brace, and poly performance ball joints. All have held up well so far to the 37's.
