I got a pretty high end uniden, 68 elite bearclaw or something. Works great, has NOAA, auto squelch and you can fade the mic and speaker to your choosing. Can also use an external speaker and a PA. I have had mine out in the weather and dust and never hada problem, looks really sharp to with the back lighting. I think i only paid 80 some bucks for it.

I think I'll go with that Uniden, thanks for the info! I probably wont get it until January, though. Right now I'm waiting on my new shocks to get in, and then money will be tight as I'm headed to New Zealand for New Years.

I have a stock tie-rod and drag link that came off my 97 5.2 ZJ that I'm willing to give away if anybody wants it and is in the Bozeman area. It will need new tie-rod ends and the usual, but otherwise I think it's in good condition. I just opted to replace the entire thing.

Thanksgiving I'm skiing up at Big Sky because that's where I live, but Jeeping up Hylite sounds pretty fun! I've got a four day weekend so I could probably go one of those days

Damn, if I wasn't going to my cabin for Thanksgiving I would totally join you guys!

Off-topic, but is there a pick and pull junkyard in Bozeman or Belgrade?
