Crusin the Coast

Has anyone ever been? I have never been and am thinking of riding over that way. I was wondering if its legal for me to lay my windshield down when I get over there. I would only have it down to ride on HWY 90 along the beach.

Not sure there's a law about that here but during cruising the coast as long as you aren't being stupid they will just give you a warning.
