Wish it wasn't so far away. Looks like a really fun place.

I haven't been there in a year. Is it still drunk rednecks, mediocre firebreak trail, and tons of rocks and mud pits still? I've "heard" they have been doing a bunch of work, but are they only expanding their rock crawling activities?

Talked to my buddys in Auburn and they said most of the upgrades are pretty much rock rig friendly and that's it. So, without lockers, it won't be worth risking the drive down there. I think the North AL guys are planning on Hale Mtn that weekend anyways.

He has a 4" lifted tj on 33's. He told me there might be 3 hours worth of riding. Not really worth it when I'd have almost 8 hours round trip of driving to get there. I might tow it down there in the next year or two but for now, I just can't justify/trust driving the jeep down there.
