Bham engine shop

I am looking for a shop in the bham area to rebuild my 258. I know these arent complicated powerplants but I would like someone who understands the quirks (cough: oil leaks) of the 258. Not wanting a wild build but a moderate upgrade over stock. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Little late, but have you checked out trussville engine rebuilders. Very reliable. Had my 4.0 rebuilt there. Never had one problem. About three ppl run the entire place for the past ten plus years. Great customer service.

Not too late. Got busy with a new house and haven't thought about it for a little while. I will check those guys out.

Couldn't say anything negative about the shop or employees if I tried. Very nice ppl that do great work. They will be building my next motor without a doubt

Ive heard good things about them as well. In fact some people up here in N. AL actually take their stuff down to Trussville for engine work.

Is the name of the business Engine Rebuilders Inc., located on Gadsden Highway? I googled Trussville Engine rebuilders and that is what came up.
