Beat up fenders

Does anybody in the Huntsville area have any beat up fenders for their TJ? Preferably you've removed em and jsut waiting to get rid of em. I have a project and not wanting to hack up my good factory fenders.

I tried calling the auto yard out in Brownsboro and they said, "We don't sell dented fenders from Jeeps, only quality ones." But I know for a FACT they have fenders out in that lot that would work perfectly for my project. Aggravating!!!!

Junk yards would be your best first bet, then CL. I know for a fact most JY don't have wranglers, and if they do they look like post vulture road kill. I've been to several in the last few weeks and didn't see any TJ's.

I went to the Complete one out in Brownsboro and the last time I was there, they had about 10 TJ's there. Most of them had outer fender damage, but the inners would have been perfect. The guy on the phone was kind of a putz, so I may go out there again and talk with them and show them what I'm looking for. If it is something they normally wouldn't sell, but can get a few $$ for it, why would they be unwilling to sell? *shrug*

Just drove by Complete Auto. They have lots of TJ's and YJ's. Couple XJ's too. If you want parts that's probably where you can get them.

Yeah I know. Previously ( a few years ago), they'd let me wander to see if I could find what I was needing. Not any more... Perhaps if I just showed up and talked to them and explained what I needed...

They won't let you pick apart the cars? **** that. How am I suppose to find what I need when I know they'll have no clue what I'm trying to find?
