Alright. Well I'm good for whenever then. I might jump into the tie rod tonight. My only time restraint tomorrow is I'm going out to eat for my brothers bday in the evening.

Well, rustys lived up to their reputation and sent me with the wrong sliders so I guess I won't be installing those tomorrow

That blows. Still going to work on the locker? Did you get the tie rod on and adjusted? What else did you need help with?

The tie rod went in. Only took thirty minutes. I still have the skid plates but I can probably manage those myself. It'll be interesting to see how they handle this since I drove to pick them up...

I would come help you with the locker tomorrow, but sadly I have work in the afternoon. I would think it would take just a half day to do the locker. We could do another garage crawl, and help everyone with their projects they have been putting off.

I'm down either way. If everyone wants to wrench early I'm down for that. I'll probably need your help locking it Michael since I've never pulled these axles before.

Edit: at this point I'll probably call tomorrow as a wait. I'll probably go get an alignment and then install my skid plates.

Its easy to pull the front axles out. Only special tool needed is a 12-point 13mm socket/wrench for the unit bearing bolts. I have a socket for a 1/2" drive that works great with my extendable breaker bar. Just let me know are wanting to do it, and I'll come.

On another note, I figured out what the black stuff dripping from my exhaust was. Diff fluid was leaking from the bottom of the cover, and spraying on the gas tank skid, and exhaust. Looked like the BP oil spill on the underside of my Jeep. But I got to cover off, cleaned up, and re did my gasket. Hopefully she doesn't leak any more.

Just wanted to let everyone know I think HollyTree is having a free ride next weekend as long as you help with some trails. Anyone interested?
