Don't let the 4cyl hold you back. It does great with 4.88 gears. The axle on the other hand, several TJ D44 floating around craigslist for decent prices. I lucked out with a Rubicon D44 for my TJ. Believe me, if you wheel a good bit, 35s look better and better.

Thanks Blue, I am hoping ot get to one of these get togethers soon. Right now I have the hubs in and the new (used) engine, but have not gotten it to start yet. Narrowed it down to not getting any fuel, so I am going to try new fuel pump today (I put 5 gallons gas in it yesterday, to illiminate possibility of no gas.....lol) Missing my jeep bad, wish I could get it running again, then be done with it for awhile.....lol

Anyone know of a windshield frame w/ glass for sale anywhere near here? I had a little bit of a rough weekend with the Jeep. Or is there a salvage yard that carries Wrangler parts?

There's a yard out near Brownsboro that has 8-10 TJ's with windshield frames. Not sure about glass though. I think it's called Complete Auto Recycler.

Thanks,

Craigslist would be a good start.

Are those the Kevlar MTRs? I debated those so I think we should go test them out against the Duras

Very nice Chris. You'll have to give me a ride so I can see/hear them in person.

Will do. I love them so far. Not loud, just a sexy hum.

Don't worry, at 25,000 miles mine hum like hell. Lower the psi to around 12-15 off road and they will get you thru anything. Just have to keep em rotated and balanced
