I have no preference. Ditto is closer for me, but I don't mind going up to Monte Sano. An off road park will turn most people away. But I'm all for going wheeling once Rusty is back together.

On that note, I finally got time today and tomorrow to work on my Jeep. I'm hoping to get the floor in tomorrow and the seats mounted back in by saturday. Then just sealing everything up and putting everything back together. Maybe another week or less? Depends on school and work

I've never had much luck just tightening up bolts on a RTV seal.

After our talk last night I did some looking because my memory ain't what it used to be, you get up to around a 1/2" bolt before you get into the 24 lb ft range. 1/4 - 5/16 inch bolts range around 15-25 lb in.

Hope your trip goes well - Have fun.

according to mil-hdbk-60, torque specs are as follows

#8-32 12-15 in-lbs
#10-24 20-25 in-lbs
1/4-20 40-50 in-lbs
5/16-18 80-90 in-lbs
3/8-16 160-185 in-lbs
7/16-14 235-255 in-lbs
1/2-13 400-480 in-lbs
9/16-12 500-700 in-lbs
5/8-11 700-900 in-lbs
3/4-10 1150-1600 in-lbs
7/8-9 2200-3000 in-lbs

obviously these are all course threads, fine threads can take even more torque.

That's not true. It's free as long as your not reserving.

Kyle and I both had to pay when we came in. Not that $3 is a deal breaker or anything haha.

I'm going to sell my hard top if anyone is interested. It's a little dinged up on the back driver's corner. Defroster and wiper work fine. $600 OBO.

It's going to be getting hot every day now. Is there any place at Ditto that has shade? If not, then I suggest Monte Santo now and then Ditto this fall when it starts to cool off.

Not that I know off. But! Saturday at 2:00 is my buddies Beer Olympics Party. I'm assembling my team right now, if you want to, let me know. That goes for anyone reading this. However, there will be a beer drinking screening/practice if you are wanting to be on the winning team.
