Ooooh yea, we didn't leave till dark! And I had went up that big hill and followed the guys that pulled up at the same time you did, but I got tired of stopping and picking up the beer cans they were throwing on the trail so we came back down.

Not sure about that one....I may just let the tank sit while I wait for the proper gasket.

Anyone around here ever done a tank? Is it terribly difficult?

I just hope we don't get caught in a downpour like last time. Also, the phrase of the day: TOW POINTS. Always have tow points.

yeah, kinda sketchy. I almost got spurred by a rooster last time I was out there. It chased me on top of a car.

Do tickets to brewfest usually sell out? I'm considering going friday and didn't know if I needed to buy early.

I have a left over tube of Permatex MotoSeal 1 if you need it It is a rubber based sealer that is designed to resist gasoline.

Just empty the tank as much as possible before dropping it. If you can not drive enough to empty it then disconnect the fuel line, put it into a gas can, and jump the pump relay under the hood.

I did just that when I emptied the tank this afternoon. Quite easy. I'm going to try to lower the tank tomorrow to see where the leak is coming from. I think I have some of that Moto Seal you are talking about from an old Suzuki project. Thanks for the heads up. I guess some sort of sealant along the gasket would work.

If you saw/heard a silver Highlander do a burn out around 8:45 in front of there...that was my friends and I.

I didn't see your Jeep over there though.

well, seems wheeling on the 11th isn't gaining much traction. How does the weekend of the 25th sound for everyone?

The 25th is my birthday weekend and it's a strong posibility I'll want to go wheeling. If I have my 4.10's by then.
