I'm in Birmingham. There are a lot of guys around here that have posted in the Alabama Jeepers thread. We need to try to organize a ride sometime soon.

There is a thread just above this one--FT Benning, COlumbus, Phenix city. We should all just team up to start something, since our areas are so close. Anyone want to ride at Choccolocco this Saturday.

I'm in Slapout, Al close to Millbrook and Prattville. I have a few friends that want to start something or join. There is no place to ride down here

Wow, Slapout. I'll bet that I'm one of only a couple of guys on here that know where you're talking about. Some of my wife's family is from the area and I grew up in Verbena.

But you're right, there aren't any groups or wheeling places in the area. From there you have to go toward Birmingham (where there are several parks) or toward Mobile where there is only one.

Give me a shout about a ride up this way, I'm always up for a trip but never have anyone to go with.

From Auburn here...

Morris Mtn. ORV (http://www.morrismountainorv.com/index.htm) haven't been myself yet... maybe 2 hrs from Auburn

Choccolocco Mountain Off Road Vehicle Park (http://www.choccoloccomountain.com/) haven't been yet...Jacksonville, AL about 2.5 hrs

Boggs and Boulders (http://www.boggsandboulders.com/) Been had an awesome time. lots of trails...mud, but detors around most mud.

Stoney lonesome (http://www.stonylonesomeohv.us/) haven't been North of Birmingham...

the rest I think are all further. Several good ones I have heard in Ga.

Obviously you are aware of http://www.thegreatamericanpark.com/index.html I haven't been yet...not sure there is anything for me.
