I'm in Niceville as well.
I heard crestview has some nice wheeling.

Anyone know any good offroad shops in the area?

I talked to a guy yesterday when I was looking for new bolts for my shackles and he told me about an offroad shop in Wright.
He told me it was called, The Wright Shop, but I have not found any info on it.

Stay away from SS customs. I've heard mixed stories about restylers, more good then bad.. I've never heard of the shop your referring too..

Eglin reservation is about all that's left for wheeling... folks tend to head up to Boggs and Boulders near Andalusia. Eglin does require a range pass; they are good till Sept 30 - basically on the fiscal year. They can be purchased from the Ranger station in Niceville.

The Wright shop used to be a 4x4 shop by the hospital in FWB. It's been gone for several years - and I think it closed versus moved. Jesse Wright - I think - was the owner.

Dont know of any other 4x4 shops locally - wish I did. Elite Jeeps in Destin supposedly has a jeep mechanic but no clue on how good or how much.

Emerald Coast Jeepers is a local club. Another is White Sands Jeep Club - of which I am a member but rarely am able to make meetins or events. I have heard of yet another club - Jacked Up or some such.

I should have my jeep down here around the January time frame. Need to run brake lines and get my driveshafts redone. Shouldnt take to long.
