Hi guys,

I met one of the forum members at JeeptoberFest this past weekend and I was telling a couple of the guys from Mid Florida about the show. He told me I should post the info here, so here goes.

Good news! We were able to work something out with the dealership in our area that is now handling sales and service for Jeeps. We are going to be able to hold our 2nd Annual Jeep Show N Shine after all. It’s a little bit of a push, but we’ll be able to get it done. Here are the details that I can give you so far:

Place: Vero Beach Chrysler/Jeep
855 S. US Highway 1
Vero Beach, FL 32962

Date: Saturday, November 7th

Time: 9 am – 3 pm; Registration ends at 11:00 am, prizes and trophies will be awarded at 2:00 pm.

Registration: There will be no fee for registration, but for each Jeep that you register, we would like to ask that you bring a can/box or two of non-perishable food for donation. Even donations of pet food are acceptable.

Judging: There will be trophies awarded in the following categories: Stock, Modified, Extreme ,Antique and Most Abused.

It looks as though we will have the normal raffle prizes, 50/50 drawing, RTI ramp, and a bounce house for the kids. This year’s food will be provided by a local Lacrosse team as a fundraising event.

Thanks. It's posted there and on about five other forums too. I just didn't know about this one. Sorry for the short notice. We had planned one show, but the dealership lost it's franchise. This is the dealership in the area that is now handling Jeep. This was the weekend that the RV's were goign to be off the lot for a show somewhere else.

We came up with one more thing you should know about for the show. Feel free to bring your parts, etc. that you have for sale. You don't need to pay anything, just bring 'em and swap, sell, buy...whatever you want to do. Please be able to keep any items you have for sale at your Jeep. If we have enough space, we will make an area for items for sale. The only thing that we're asking is that you be responsible for them during the show.

I know that I've got some JK stock stuff that I'm going to bring and many of our members are bringing some of their stuff as well. It's a good chance to clean out the garage and make a little money too.

Thanks to those of you that were able to make it. We wouldn't have a show if it weren't for you. I think it went well and everyone seemed to have a good time. This dealership was a new thing for us. Sadly, we were not able to change the weekend for many who were committed to other events, but we do understand.

I slept in today and am working on checking email and then I'll be posting all of the pics I have on our site at www.treasurecoastjeepclub.org. I'll change the "Jeep Show" page today or tomorrow, but I'll at least get some pics up on the gallery today.
