I heard it's possible to camp on the range too, does anyone know if camping is allowed near the Hwy 123 and 85 area? Would love to camp and wheel for the weekend.

I now there are camping sites available. I think you gotta talk to Jackson guard and get permision cuz you gotta be out usually around dark. The details are on the map they give you. I'll check when I get home.

There is a camp site jus off 85. North of 123. Quadrant I-17. Kepner. Also, there is a site on the east side of 85 that is farther off the hwy. Blue spring, out rd 213 by duke feild. Quadrant J-15. And you do need to get a camping permit, $5 a night for up to 10 people. 5 day limit. You also have to check quadrant closures daily at the web site. I've rolled up on a whole squad before! Equiped to the teeth! It was an unscheduled training op so they didn't give me grief, jus had me leave that area.

Did a little wheelin today up in Crestview as I was in that area today and figured I would swing by the 'ol Raspberry Road. Sorry, no music with the video, just the sounds of the 5.2L and me changing from 4hi to 4lo every now and then. I know the video is not a gopro HD, but I used what I had. I was alone so didn't want to do too much.

edit: updated

In video #2, along the right side of that is where this next video was taken quite a few months back; with me in the same Jeep.

Near I-10. Right behind Lowes.

oh ok, I've seen that road out at hwy 85 (running thru Crestview) right there in front of Lowe's. So that road takes you back behind the Lowes? how far does the trail go?

I haven't gauged the length of that road, but you can spend a good half day back there wheeling. It all depends if you want to go through that one obstacle in the last video backwards. I've come down it quite a few times, but have only been back up it once in the ZJ. There is lots of articulation spots back there, and if you have the suspension for it there is plenty of other obstacles there.
