Funny actually hearing people wanting to come to Ocala since everyone from Ocala, including myself, are dying to get out of Slocala

Good question, still thinkin about that one. I was considering the Pittman Visitor Center on SR 19 so we could pick up maps and find out about any closed trails. Any thoughts or suggestions.

alot of people meet at the kangaroo at 42 and 19 just south of there.just an idea for ya.the visitor center dont usually know about the 4x4 trails.they always gave me the atv brochure.check out the link for the forest trails.I printed it out all 48 pages but shows what trails are seasonal and open highway vehicles.

Also, Osceola Nat'l Forest has some pretty decent trails, and all are open to Jeeps/4x4's (altough I wouldn't take anything much larger than a Jeep through them).

The best thing about Osceola is that there are hardly ATV's on the trails.

Thanks for the link. I like how it breaks it down to grids.
