Did anyone go?
I left Friday night for B'ham to visit with my grandmother who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. We just got back about an hour ago. I doubt I will get alot of wheeling trips in the rest of the year since I want to take every free weekend to B'ham to spend with her before she heads to her heavenly home.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, Rick. I know it's hard, but she'll be in a better place.

It's all good seeing as we all know where she will be after she passes.

On another note, I spoke to a couple ppl about Mobile Swamp this past weekend and they said it was dead. There were , maybe, 20 trucks out there and practically no 4 wheelers, so the trails would have been empty and safer for those who ventured out.

By the way.....

It's nothing spectacular, but it sure breaks up the monotony of a dull couple of weeks to be able to hit some trails and a few obstacles. Not to mention some of the scenery that shows up for the mud bogg.

I just bought a TJ, previously a ZJ and XJ. Never had anything with 4wd, so this should be fun. I used to dirtbike at the end of Pipeline Rd and the clay pitts (years ago)...are those still there?

Never been there. I have a honey spot I go to when I don't have time to travel any distance. It is within 5 minutes of my house and scratches the itch when it comes at a time with little time.lol
