I am in desperate need of a good Jeep YJ mechanic. I own a 1987 YJ 4.2 and im having overheating problems.

If anybody can please recommend a good mechanic i would very much appreciated it.

Give Brandon's a call in Pompano Beach (on Dixie Hwy south of Atlantic Blvd). They did some work on our Jeep and were recommended by others.

As far as overheating, did you change out the thermostat, water pump, replace the coolant?

Check the fan clutch, make sure it's engaging.

Try Mean Max, he has a Jeep shop in Stuart.

I own a 1988 YJ 4.2 and had a lot of work done at Brandon's. Straight shooter, very knowledgeable and can fix, fabricate, invent and/ or install anything you want done. Tell him the Sergeant Major sent you.

Green's garage in Miami. I don't trust anyone else with my TJ, and Junior (owner) is a Jeep nut. They've replaced my rear axle and fixed some cooling issues I was having.
