Beach LEGAL?

What states and where is it legal to drive on the beach. I've been to Daytona beach, Fl. and drove on the beach, but was looking for other places in the southeast.

Only place I've seen is in Daytona, but I'm sure you're aware of it. Down here in Tampa, I haven't heard of anything...

I don't know of anywhere in SC to wheel on the beach. I lived in Hilton Head for a while, and nobody knew of anywhere to wheel.

St. Augustine, FL, also has a legal stretch. It's north of Daytona by a little bit. There is one section where 4WD is 'required'.

If you call the redneck riveria, aka gandy beach/blvd, a beach then you can drive and fish on it. West of Dale Mabry south of the stadium by a few miles.

I can tell you it's NOT LEGAL in Myrtle Beach. Only time I saw a vehicle on the sand was bike week, dude on a sport bike haulin' A with a handful of cops on his tail.

Sorry, but it's better to find out here than the hard way, but you guys probably knew this already.

Atlantic Beach, NC will let you with a $50.00 permit. From October 1 until March 15. From Fort Macon State Park line down to the southern city limits of Atlantic Beach.
