Sounds like an awesome trip. I'd join you in Moab if you were going to be there but alas your route doesn't take you there.

This looks like a great trip, I'm sure you will see lots along the way!

PM me if you want some help choosing a mountain bike - I read the site and it says you're not decided yet.

Open Invitation - Update

Hi guys,

Thanks for the welcome and good wishes. My route has been constantly changing because of tips from locals, new places to fly the paraglider or DZ we had nor heard about.
The official (but not yet finished) site is: www.americas2011.com in there you will find the maps with the route per state. But... AZ, NM, NV has been changed yesterday night and not updated yet. And Utah (Moab) is now on our path!!
I hope by the end of the day all the maps will be updated.

Cheers,

Renato

Hi Chris and NYMCTJ

I haven't sent the invitations yet so you two will be the very first ones outside the inner circle to know... There WILL be a kickoff party, I am planning it with Greg from Dadeland Jeep dealer, we hope to meet by the parking lot in the morning, go to a ride somewhere in the Glades and then back to the parking lot to a big BBQ. We haven't decided about where the ride will be because our first option requires individual licences and it would be a pain the *** for everybody.

So... ok, you can spread the word now :-)

We had considered going north through Naples, Tampa and Orlando but we want to skydive at Sebastian, this is why we are taking the east coast...
