Shop recommendation??

I have a mid-80's CJ-7 that needs some work. Does anybody have a recommendation for a good mechanic in metro-Atlanta? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hope it's okay to ask in this forum. Thanks!

Thanks, Fluevog. I thought they only sold parts. I also need a mechanic. Thanks either way.

They can do some mechanical stuff like I go to them for oil changes, tire rotations and just other "check up" things. I'm not sure what you're looking for but you should ask them what they can do. Anyway, sort of off topic, do you know of any good off roading places near atlanta

Thanks, again. I'll call and find out.

As far as trails, I don't but I will ask around.

Try Fortec in Roswell. You better have some Deep pockets if you take it to 4Wheel parts.

Broke Again does good work. Joe Leaper is the mech dude.
You ll have find the # on the net.
Also the place in Alpharetta, Southern Offroad Specialists.. they do decent work.
But for cj stuff, you're better off learning to fix it your self unless you feel like you have too much money.
4wheel parts sells parts and does the wrenching too. I know both managers of both stores.
Tell them you re part of Georgia Crawlers and they may give you 10% off and then when the jeep is rolling you can actually COME to GC meeting! lol

Thanks GeorgiaCrawlers, TCrook, and Fluevog. I'll contact your recommendations and hopefully get this beast, at least temporarily, taken care of. I really appreciate the help!
