I'm thinking about riding to nimberwill gap this Sunday. How far is it from downtown Dahlonega, and how long is the actual ride where do you come out at?

It's about 30-45 min from dahlonega. Nimblewill gap is a typical FS road. There are several roads that link and come off of it. The last time I rode it I did it on a motorcycle and just did an out and back.

Sheep wallow road is literally my back yard, my property backs up to the area. I literally see people coming across my driveway all the time going back to play. Let me know if yall wanna get a ride together!

Yea it's pretty easy, there's a side trail that you need 4wd on but it's not tough just steep. There's also a deep mud hole that has a bypass (take the bypass)

I want to do something a little more challenging than Nimberwill, but I guess it'll be good to just get on the trail. It would be bad if we got back there and his transmission acted up.

You should check out Durhamtown Plantation. I went there with some others and had a blast. $25 for the day. Also have camping cabins if you stay the weekend. Rock crawling, hill climbs, mud holes, obstacle pass, drive a couple hundred yards through a rocky creek......list goes on. Stock Jeeps have fun too.

Dtown is forever away for me! It would take a tank of gas to get there.
