Anyone ever been? If so are there some easy to moderate trails? Any pics?

It has everything from moderate to pretty darn near impossible and for the most part there are bypasses. It's possible for stockers to follow well built rigs around most of the park. The owner likes to move rocks and what not around, so the trails tend to be slightly different every time you go.

Spring Crawl the 21st - 23rd. There will be hundreds of Jeeps there.

Whenever I go there it's a toss up. The owner might get his backhoe and go to town making things nearly impossible for folks with smaller rigs or it might be a good mix of difficult to moderate. I have had great times and not so great times just because of how they changed some of the trails. I got a lot of pics but they are on my home PC.

Sorry to bring this back, but anyone have any pics of the easier trails? How would a 3in lifted wk do? Are the bypasses easy? I'd have fun just doing those. There is NO where to go in macon.

Thanks

River Rock is good for all rigs and groups.

There are bypass trails around almost everything so everyone can follow and bypass when they want to.

Steve does an excellent job with the difficulty, repairing big dug out holes, and can cater the difficulty of some of the pits to the ride level.

Always check the calendar before you go as there are quote a few closed weeks and private rides there.

Doing a huge bump on this. Has anyone else heard anything about it? I know they closed it for about 6 months, but they said there was a possibility of it re-opening. Anyone know anything? It isnt looking too good

Absolutely no chance of it reopening.

Steve and Kim built their new home there, and the trails have been closed.

Tragically their son, Hunter, was killed in an auto accident months ago, and he is now at rest on the property.

Then they faced another tragedy when they lost everything about a month ago when their cabin burned to the ground just prior to completion of the new house, as they lost all of the keepsakes and photos of Hunter, as well as 4 dogs.

Steve and Kim are remarkable folks and say they don't need a thing, other than info and notice when someone looses their home to fire so they can help..

That's terrible. They are very hospitable folks and I hate to hear that they have to weather this tragedy.

that is not good to hear. RR was still the best place around and I have many fond memories as I was there a lot when I first got into wheelin.
