I have a friend that is a good mechanic and he works on all my cars and trucks....except my BMW. He's one of those back country type shops but he is ASE certified and his pricing is well as his work.

He will likely be reworking my transmission also.

He is in Palmetto which is 2 miles off I-85 about 20 minutes from the airport. If you want his name and number shoot me a PM and I will send it to you. Even if its a bit of a drive for you he will likely save you lots of money.

I lost 3rd in mine and had a guy in Mableton that took care of mine, he even went through the transfer box and checked the gears to to make sure there were no issues.
I dont know where you live or if Mableton is close to you, but if you need more information, let me know
