Does anyone in Atlhens/Atlanta with knowledge want to rebuild an ax-5 transmission? Ill pay happily, just don't want to pay shop prices if I can get away with it. Thanks

I see you don't want to use a shop. If it is your last resort, check out Whitley's Transmission in Lawrenceville. They are close to the airport.

Thanks. I'm ok with a shop, but I spent $1500 on a winch rims etc at Oconee off road and asked them for a quote and called to follow up 3 times over last 2 weeks and can't get them to call me back. Called ccor today at 515 but they must close at 5. Had bad experience with a local trans shop so I'm running out of options since we live in the sticks. Thanks for the help.
