Quick Excursion after the storms in GA

I'm still a posting newbie, but wondered if anyone knew the legality of driving the trails in Cherokee County, GA that run next to the power lines in the BallGround area. A buddy of mine and I couldn't resist getting a little dirty, but I'd prefer to know better if it's a No-No.

View from the trail a little north of BallGround:

Its probably illegal if its anything like other powerline road/trails I have heard about in the past. Its not your land so without permission it would be illegal.

Drat...I was hoping for something along the lines of public access since the power lines are up there, but then again makes sense that you don't want the public around those things. Oh well...didn't get caught and won't do it again...or at least won't post about it.....

Anyone know any decent spots to get dirty in Cherokee County?
