Northeast GA Wheeling

Anyother places in Northeast GA to wheel besides Beasley Knob and Durhamtown? I see Locust Stake and Oakey Mtn, but they look like ATV trails. Sucks they closed BK early this year..

I just rode a trail at Lake Russell WMA in Toccoa and Dodd isn't far from there... Georgia Jeepers on FB have some private property in Jersey, GA. Helen, GA and the surrounding area has fairly easy day burners.

I went wheeling yesterday around the north shore of Lake Allatoona on either Sweet Water Lane or Harbin's Bridge Trail, but there were too many no trespassing signs to ignore. Which one has the small billboard with the topo map outlining a hunting reserve? Also I was by myself and cut the ride short when I lost confidence about not getting stuck.

A club seems the way to go, but which one? I wish there was something like an hour away or so. Is there anything around Dahlonega?
Last night a friend said the owners of Durhamtown bought Tellico and were going to re-open it.

Is Georgia Who's Riding Where not accepting new members? I met a couple of jeepers this weekend up on Trey Mountain, we followed them down and they told us about this. I've tried to sign up yesterday and today, it keeps saying pending, then acts like I was denied and goes back to "join group" again on facebook. I can't figure out why.
