Moving to Americus, GA

I'm moving to Southwest Georgia at the end of the month (from NC). Will be looking for some people to wrench, wheel and hang out with when I get down there. I read something about a group forming in the Columbus / Ft Benning area. I could possible make some of the meetings there. Any other Jeep guys in the Americus/Plains GA area?

As for wheelin... my XJ is pretty mildly build. Just a 3" lift and some 31s. I would like to find some good places to wheel though. I would love to make a trip to Beasly Knob or Gray Rock at some point... but I need to spend some money and time on the jeep before that. Let me know if there are any other decent trails or parks where I can have some fun in a mild-build XJ.

Thanks
DM

I'm a good bit away from you in Griffin but I usually take rides up in the North GA mountains but there are other places closer like at River Rock, Durhamtown and Morris Mountain in East Alabama near the GA line. I'm actually riding at River Rock this weekend with the Georgia Trail Riders.
