I will probably try to limp my turd up there Or maybe just to get video ride with Jerry if he has a spot. Dunno. I sort of switched gears to speed up my swap on my 88 E30.

i wont be going up on aetna but i might be at the Cracker Barrel just to see some of the local jeepers rigs (i know of 3 different trips going up that day) so if you see a creeper dude (ill probably be in a bluish 74 k5 on BFG allterrains, or a red mazda pickup looking at the rigs) dont be scared

It's a conspiracy! You have to love those close tolerance engines these days. What ever happened to just regular ole 10w-40? Life was so much simplier back then.

how difficult is aetna? I have a 95 xj that ibought already lifted, its got 32 muds and a 8.25 with limited slip, 3 inch skyjacker lift, but its got 2 inch spacers in front and 2 inch blocks in back from P.O. you think i'd be alright? If so, I'm willing to attend!

Where'd that Locker come from?

I was bored at lunch and somehow I bought a lock-right for the front axle. 4wd.com has a price match policy so I was just going to look and _BAM_ my credit card was out and the part was on it's way...

I am hoping I can have it in before the trip. I spent last weekend rebuilding the trac-lock in the 8.8 so now if I can just get a winch, I can get stuck trying to do stuff I shouldn't do and the right stuff to get back out. as of now, I can only do the former!

mpgp, You will be fine. My YJ is no more lifted than what you describe. I have not been there but have been watching a number of videos on youtube and it looks like there are vehicles of all types out there. we may not be able to do everything, but I think we can have plenty of fun!

ok cool. I'm gonna try my hardest to get up there. What time are you guys hitting the trails? I think some people on CF are planning a little meet and greet and then going to Aetna as well

aetnas main trail is doable witha stock jeep, to get broke or rolled or any kind of serious stuff you have to detour to it. not a trail system in which you have to cross every obstacle. aetna is fun for everyone. when tellico closed, aetna became my new weekend hangout. we go at least 2 times a month and as much as 5-6 times a month(weather deciding). everyone will be fine. have you guys determined who trail boss will be? i can show whoever your main guy is the route, so no one will be lost. very branched out system, wouldnt do it blindly.
