"Go Topless" in Newnan 19 May

Just an FYI for those whu may not know-

On May 19th, The Georgia Crawlers club will be hosting a "Go Topless Day" in Newnan at the Hooters. It is on Hwy 34 just off I-85.

So far there will be a pretty good turn out with vendors and such.

There is more information on their website (georgiacrawlers.com) listed under the Social Events.

Not yet but I have most all the parts for the replacement. I got a used Teraflex high steer knuckle that I painted last night, 1.5" DOM tie rod with .25" wall, a 1.25" drag link, and another spare tie rod.

All with 1 ton Chevy TRE's. I just need to ream the knuckles and flip the tie rod. Click in my sig on my build thread for pics.

I'm going to try and make the run to Newnan but I have a hard top and no where to store it. So I may be running over there with no doors.

Lame but I don't think my complex would like my top sitting in the yard for the day.

Yeah. No reason not to go just because I have no place to store my top.

I'm putting the u-bolt plates on today that I made. If all goes well I'll try to make it Saturday. Though it is a good free day to put my knuckle on.

I live in Newnan, one exit up from Hooters. If you want, you can swing by and leave your hardtop at my place. I live on property so it won't be a worry. We are leaving to go over to hooters around 10:45. Just let me know!

Sorry I couldn't make it guys. I went to Emory Midtown to visit a friend and fellow jeeper whose mother has been in the hospital.

I'm sure it was a blast.
