Exclamation Georgia Crawlers: Seeking responsible drivers

I dont advertise much, but decided to do it today

For those that want to go for more rocks and hardcore without breaking the wallet. We have 80% running 35s and 10% running 33s and 10% running 37 and up tire sizes.
We don't bash our rides, we go to trails with the intention to drive back.
Everyone is a spotter and nobody gets laughed at if you need a winch or a tug.

We're a small club but not a new club we've been around since 2006, meet once a month and try to ride once a month. Meetings at Manuels Tavern off of Highland Ave downtown ATL on the 2nd saturday of every month.

The forum is open to any one but not open to register. There is an age restriction but we can lean a bit if your mature enough.
Directions on how to register on forum.

Check us out if you want. No pressure to buy, can cancel any time. Not valid for 2wd vehicles .. ha ha..

I've seen y'alls club name floating around. What places do you go wheeling at? I drive my junk to all the trails and I always intend to drive it back. It does get banged up though. I'm in Griffin so this might be a better deal for me. Most of the other clubs are in North Georgia. Not many below Atlanta that I know of.

When is your next ride and where?

march 10th meeting .. we ll discuss that. Last month we went to Choccolocco in Jacksonville AL.
We ride all over.. Morris Mountain, Windrock, Beasley, we even did the dtown ride too just to name a few. Not much fan for mud.
If you're looking for a Mud runner club then its not us. (just a note not addressed to you lol)

the policy we have is. 1 meeting 1 ride before you can join.. We dont discuss the rides we go on til after they are done. We have a members only section for rides that prospects can attend.

We do not do ride powerline trails or encourage them because it is illegal and helps give the image of off-roaders a bad name.
The local trails around Georgia aren't much of a challenge so we usually hit trails that are 3-4 hrs away. Most of the time it's a day ride and we caravan to the trails.
We're not in to show and shines, if you are then that's great. If you're going to ride with us you should invest in car wash soap and touch-up paint.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't know if I would join a club that would have me as a member!

Pretty much sums up my wheeling style. I drive to all the trails. I've hit Beasley many times, Choccolocco this past December, Tellico (when it was around), River Rock (when it was around), D-town (wasn't too impressed because of the mud and they hadn't finished the new section), Gulches, and Morris Mountain. I want to hit Windrock at some point.

My buddies and I are trying to get a ride in at Morris Mountain but most of them won't be ready on the 10th and Shamrock on the 23-25th will be packed.

The 10th is the meeting in ATL, not the ride. Drop by and check out the group, not sure of Mark's "mature enough" clause if we go by that, we may have to cut out half the club.

I've been a member for a little while now and it really is a great group to ride with. We have members all over the place, I live in Covington myself.

I'm doing my best to get this club some maturity, sophistication and culture.

I should be in town next weekend and hopefully I can get the jeep back together. I would hate to pull up in my '09 Civic to a jeep meet and greet.

Lot of people show up not in there Jeeps to the meeting, but it is cool to have them there. The group is easy to find as most get there 30 minutes to an hour early and hang out in the parking lot before we go in as a group.
Meeting starts at 1pm, I am usually there a by 12:30 at the latest (but I will not be there this month) and normally I am not the first one there.
So come on by if you have the time. Food is good and the beer is cold.

I'm definitely going to try. I will confirm later in the week. How can I resist good food and cold beer?
