I'm at school at Auburn University, pretty close to the AL/GA border, only an hour and 15 outside of ATL. I need some places to go wheeling!
Are you guys close?

I live in Cobb county Georgia, me and some buddies are going to Alatoona WMA, it is pretty close like woodstock area. There are some pretty decent trails that we are going to explore and best of all, they are legal. I believe we are going this saturday if anyone wants to join.

Sounds like fun, I may join you if I can get this new bumper/tire carrier done. It'll need to be trail tested

Black 00 XJ, I live right in behind those powerlines on P'tree. I highly suggest not going there! Gwinnett and Sugarhill Police have been ticketing people left and right for even being in the entrance. xjoffroad92, where are these trails at in Alatoona? I go camping up there every summer and have never heard of them. Has anyone been to Beasley's Knob yet? I hear the trails there are pretty difficult. Anyone in the Gwinnett area? As for Athens, I used to drive a truck to Colbert almost everyday, and saw a lot of trails off of just about any road it seemed.

I live close to beasley knob and its not really difficult but some wheelin experience is good to have. Mostly just a bunch of steep trails. There is one trail there called 93b that is rocky and steep. You have to have lockers, winch, and some nerve to try it.
