What's a tow rig?

I'm hoping to make a trek to Morris Mountain and Aetna in the coming year. No tow rig but some buddies and I were debating on if we should invest in a tow bar so we could pull each other in case a disaster happens.

More than you can do in a weekend at both places. Aetna is a not a park but a highly used mountain area that you'll need a guide for 1st time. Huge, vast area.

Haha, its going to suck when something breaks though. Paying someone to tow me 3.5 hours wont be too fun lol.

Anyone got any good snow/wheeling pics? I know N. Georgia is getting a good blanket going.

Line of Duty Benefit Ride...

I know that this is a motorcycle ride, however, I spoke with the coordinator and asked about bringing Jeeps and he said, "Bring 'em on!!"

Let's make this happen and show our support for these Officers' families!

The coordinator said that we will line the Jeeps up behind the bikes. This will maintain a uniform look for the ride as well as provide a buffer for the bikes!

That's awesome. I was on Atlanta Hwy on day of the funeral for Buddy. The turn out from law enforcement was amazing. I think all departments of North Georgia and North Atlanta were there. It was intense.

We had over 500 bikes, one Jeep and one Honda Accord for this ride. *

The registration fees, alone, netted over $10,000...that total did NOT include the money raised by selling BBQ chicken plates, hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks. *There were also shirts, wrist bands and other memorabilia for sale. *

100% of the proceeds will go to the families of SPO Elmer "Buddy" Christian and SPO Tony Howard (both with The Athens Clarke County Police Department) *Thanks for your service and sacrifices gentlemen.
