Sounds to me like this a scientific way of sayin that they are gonna close the trails that are rough and have runoff and make new trails that are easy to maintain and wont have runoff. I may be wrong but thats what I gather from it. Then i found this information here at this site.
There is clear evidence that the many sections of the trail system are not sustainable. That is, they have a large impact on the natural surroundings, they have significant evidence of soil loss or movement, and they require extensive re-routing and long-term maintenance plans. The focus of this assessment will be to promote environmental protection through the creation and maintenance of sustainable trails at the Beasley Knob OHV Trail System. Close cooperation and participation with interested user groups and publics will be an important part of this assessment. The affected user groups and any interested public participants will play an active role throughout all parts of the assessment. The contractor will serve in a facilitator role throughout the process.

Last time we were there, a buddy followed us in his stock z71 extended cab Chevy pickup all the way up G and back then out on C ... bent the crap out of every cross beam on the truck and scratched and gouged the hell out of the sides but he made it... Just depends on how much you want your jeep to look like it does when you go in when you go out ;-)

it looks like we are still on for Saturday.. everyone still in?
I'm still planning on being there. I'll let y'all know if anything changes by tomorrow. My gf might be on call for vet school all weekend and since we don't see each other much it might be a problem. But we'll see.
Looking like rain on Friday night and maybe Saturday morning. If they don't close the trails it will get very interesting, especially on those steep hill climbs.
