Id like to get into the sport of off roading, only problem is everythime someone tells me they know a place it's private property.

Can someone clue a new jeeper(stocker minues 2 in body lift) in about what there is to do around here?

Talking Howdy

The best thing to do is to join a club to get some riding experience and learn.
There are clubs that have meetings and dues and there are clubs that don't.
Do some research and decide what is best for you. Location of the meetings could be a big factor.
I started out with just a 2" BB lift and did some riding, but the more challenging trails may call for a little more lift.
There are a lot of forest service roads that you can do and some of the parks have some easy trails.
Yes, sad to say most of the riding places are private now.
Beasley is one of the cheaper rides and a good place to do as your first ride as long as it is DRY. The Georgia clay gets slicker than....well, you know.
Welcome to offroading.

There isn't any legal wheeling in Dville. Morris Mountain is about a hour away in Alabama. I'm going riding Saturday off of 166 on a friends property. If you're free I'll ask if he minds if you come too.

Just saw your post. I live in D'ville/Hiram area. There are a few places to mudd at, but mostly now the places are closed and or private.
We have heard tale of a place off of South Baggett Rd that is a private place and they charge like $20 to go play, but I havent had time to research it or go visit it.
