I just bought a Jeep yesterday for $400, from what I can tell I stole it, but it's def. a project truck. Just trying to meet up with some people and get to know some more about this thing. I spend most of my time drag racing my Mustang so this is a project to keep me away from breaking that every 6 months.

Google the GAP

It is in Auburn, Al. About as local as you will get. 35min drive is too easy for some great wheelin.

The interior looks mint man! I'd jut sand it and primer it and paint it later. That looks good man.

Sorry guys, last night I was finishing up a transmission swap in my Mustang. The stock parts didn't like leaving at 7500 and 100 shot.. Maybe we can get together Sunday. It's got a broke rear little door window, so I don't like driving it in the rain.

Well i am trying to do my gears. I have the tools and the gears bible from pirate. I am self teaching myself like with everything else on the xj. Another buddy that knows what he is doing helpede gear the dana 30 so i learned from that. I didnt finish last night just got too tedious trying to get the preload and backlash right lol.

I have stock steering on 4.5 inches of lift so the drop pitman arm is a bandaid till i can get better steering. I got it for 30 bucks as opposed to over 200 for new steering.

I got 4 inches of lift on stock steering. Only aftermarket part is a track bar. And Ahhhh okay. Yeah, I want to learn on gearing, but just keep checking it and run a pattern. All you can do lol.
