Cochran"s Falls trail closure????

I read about a possible closure for the Cochran's Falls trail over on North Georgia Jeepers forum. The trail we usually take is now being designated as a foot traffic only trail by the Forestry Service. WTF gives????

Does that connect to the Amicalola Falls trails?

Either way it sucks big time.

North Georgia Jeepers has a whole thread on this. It is sad but true, apparently. I think we are going to go up this weekend for one last run before it is officially closed off.
