They looked at it! Does that count.. Most of our jeeps aren't equipped for B.
Did you get to go the other day? Were you able to get up it?

I was there a couple months ago and was able to make it to the top. The two times before that I had some troubles but there was a time when I went up it with 31's. It's definitely more rutted out than it ever has been.

Me and 3 other buddies are heading to Choccolocco Mountain on the weekend of the 17th. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll send them my number. Should be a lot of fun.

You locked front and back and with a winch? Or do you just have balls of steel?

I should be geared and locked by then, I would like to join in if that's cool.

With the 31's I was locked front and back, no winch and stock gearing. The other attempts I had a winch, 4.10's D30 with an open 8.8. The last successful attempt was with a locked D30 and 8.8 and a lot of rock smashing.

As for balls of steel...I'll let you be the judge of that if you go wheeling with us.

I'll PM you my number and email address. I'm taking off work December 16th and me and another buddy will be leaving from Fort Gillem by mid-day (we hope). Two other buddies are either coming Friday (16th) evening or Saturday morning. We've already spoken to the guy that runs Choccolocco Mountain and we're good to go. There is a fee of $30 to camp and ride all weekend which I think is a good rate. Here's a link to the park with all their info.

It's a fun trail just don't go after it's rained.
