So, are y'all going this weekend (22nd) or next weekend (29th)? Because it looks as though, my trip to tellico this weekend is probably going to fizzle out. Nobody that I've asked can make it due to work. I still may go just to go camping, but if y'all are going this weekend (22nd) then I might TRY to make it down there.

If y'all are meeting at 10, I'm not going to be able to. I can't get away untill around 1 or 2 and that would put me down there at about 3 or so. Y'all will probably be gone by then. So, unless it can be later, I'm not going to be able to make it this weekend. Which really sucks, because I was looking forward to it. Thanks for the invite though!

Sorry you can't make it. I can't make it later as I need to be back by 4-5:00 at the latest. Maybe you can make it on another ride or we can do it again later, (if it is a nice ride).

So if MILTMO doesn't go I guess its just Coreydiver and I. I'm planning on going no matter just to see what the place looks like and see exactly whats there.

Thanks for the post. I'll try to remember to take my camera & take pictures this time.

Please do take a camera, so I can see pictures of what it's like there. I'm going to definately try to make it next time, whenever that may be. I'm just glad to find some more people on here that are relativley close to me that want to hit some trails every now and then. Anytime y'all go somewhere that's close by me, let me know.

Miltmo, would you want to meet up there later in the day? Since I can't get out of here until around 1:30 or 2.

It was a good ride. Pretty tame compared to Tellico, River Rock, and Beasley. My wife enjoyed that!! It makes for a pleasent drive in the woods with a few places you could stop and take a break. A few pics to follow. My wife, Pauline, & I went and looked at the falls, drove to Delonega had some lunch, some antique shopping and home. I think it was around 6:00 when we got back home.

I want to thank everyone who came and showed me the trails. I noticed some other trails, but sure they probably didn't lead to much. Maybe we can do this again sometime.

We are taking a family trip up there next weekend. Can you get around all the trails pretty easy with a stock JK? And where are the trails?

Hey Coreydiver, want to give some info on the trails. I know we went on 2, but are there any others? We did the trail, High Shoals, that leads to the Baptist Church and Nimblewell Road, which has some ruts, but doable even for a stock JK. It helps to have a locker in the rear, but not necessary unless it has rained alot. Thanks.

Yeah, a stock JK should be fine. The only place you might have a problem is the trail past the Church. The trails are easy to find- make your first left once you go through gate ( towards top of falls and lodge). Once at the top, take your next left (towards campgrounds). Then take a right- you'll have rental cabins on your right. That road turns to dirt. There will be trails that branch off that lead to campsites- pretty fun to play on- some are kinda cool. The main way is stay straight until you see the sign for Nimblewill rd. Make a right there and it'll take to Nimblewill gap. You can go around the 2 mudholes you'll come to but if wanted to.... they're not that deep ( unless it rains alot) and they have pratty hard bottoms. Have fun!!
