The only place that you can drive you Jeep on the beach near Myrtle Beach is Carolina Beach, NC. Its only about an hour drive north to get to it. The access point is called Freeman Park, or Northend to locals. Its $20 a day or $100 for the year pass. You can camp out there and fish if you want. I go all the time. You can google Carolina Beach Freeman Park and get more info on it on the towns website.

Cdzur, I just moved to myrtle beach on big block road. (Yesterday) if you find any good wheeling spots or are interested in going to a park let me know. I'm used to wheel a few parks in pa, trying to find some new wheeling buddies

Hey guys. I am going on vacation down to Myrtle Beach for 4thof July weekend. We are looking to rent a Wrangler and I was wondering if there is any 4x4 area's around Myrtle Beach. From the looks of this thread, it seems as thought there isn't any 4x4 driving in the area....

But, I was looking at Huntington Beach State Park and (looking at google maps) it looks like there may be some 4x4 beach driving, but I can't find any info about it online.

Is there beach driving at Huntington Beach State Park? Or any other 4x4 driving in the area?

on FB, look up Coastal Carolina Offroad and join. They meet every few weeks, mainly Wranglers but a few ZJ/XJ's.

I will be down in Murrells Inlet later today to Sunday with my girlfriend at her parents condo. Wont have my Jeep with me though since we have two friends coming down with us and I don't have a back seat in the Jeep. Their place is right behind Waccamaw hospital off 17.

Yeah coastal Carolina off road, find us on facebook. There is no real place to go around here. You do have to go to NC to drive on the beach. We hope to see you around.
