Tj Moving to Columbia, SC

Looking for wheelin spots and clubs in and around the Columbia, SC area. I have been in TN for the past 8 years I can't imagine leaving my old wheelin grounds behind (LBL, WITC) but orders are orders. I will be headed out to SC between APR and JUN of 09 after I return from my current deployment.

There's nowhere in Columbia, but Gulches is about a hour and 1/2 away. There's also Tellico, Uhwarrie, and Riverrock which are only a few hours drive away.

As far as local clubs, Mid-Carolina Jeepers is one of the local groups. Several of our members are current or former military. You can check us out at www.usjeeps.com.

I don't mind driving a few hours to go wheeling, it would be no change to where I am now. Thanks for the help and I look forward to meeting some of you and wheeling when I get out to SC.
