Looking for reliable mechanic in Columbia area

My daughter's car needs work on the front axle, she is in college in Columbia, anyone know of a reliable mechanic? Thanks!

I've used Mickey's Auto Repair in Irmo...they may not be the cheapest, but they are honest and pretty quick.

Update~I just spoke to firestone and the report says~ control arms about to fall off, welds on axle breaking and bent...It is just so hard when she is 9 hours away!

It's about 25-30 minutes...tell her it's about as far away as Harbison...she'll probably know
