Does anyone know if there is a Jeep Week at Myrtle Beach like there is for Bikes and Mustangs etc?

I have never heard of one in MB. I would totaly go to one that was more in state away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist town that MB is, for a place to trail ride and camping.

That just means that someone would have to start one. Why the heck not? There are places where there could be vendors, off-road expo's, etc. I'm from the area, there would be a turnout for sure...
Get it started....

The hardest part would be finding the land to hold an event like that on. Insurance would be need to protect the land owners, event organiser, and staff to run the event. People will do stupid stuff, realy stupid stuff whith beer involoved. But I am not saying that I can't be done. I would start smalll and go from there. Finding the land would be step 1.

During Mustang Week, they have a big event/car show at the Colonial Mall(might be different name now) and that draws a crowd. The place is big enough that they close off areas of the parking lot for the show, vendors, etc. Or, there is always the old Waccamaw Outlets parking lot. Every year they have a huge antique car show there, huge turnouts. Might have to be OFF-ROAD in general for a large crowd.
Good luck if someone is going to do it. Maybe for 2013...

If it's an off road show then I want to see what the machines can do off the pavement.

I was a mamber of a local club that did an off road show at Bass pro for a few years. The insurance was killer. We have thought about possibly starting it up again. Maybe at the old Myrtle Square Mall, where they hold the Run to the sun car show. As far as doing anything that will show the adalities of the Jeep, good luck on that one the insurance would be insaine!

Old thread, but back in 06 there was an 4 Wheel Drive show at the Colonial Mall. I think Aggressive Krawlers put it on. I haven't heard of one since, but I would tow my junk down there if it was.

If we could set something up I would be down as long as I got a good notice about it. My girlfriends parents just bought a place in Murrels Inlet so Id have a free place to stay.
