Gulches park in SC

I am new to columbia SC...gulches is about 1.5 hours away. I have a stock (for now) cherokee that I have wheeled some in GWNF, but would love to check out gulches. http://www.gulchesorvpark.com

I am here alone for work till I can move the family down. I would love to hook up with some guys that are going. Please pm me if you are planning to head up there. I would love to learn about the place and meet some fellow wheelers.

Owner of a 1 owner 93 XJ county trim, 4.0, AT, 8.25 rear and 3.5 gears. It has goodies like pw/pl, cc, tilt, cd changer, keyless entry, rear wiper and defrost...overall a nice old jeep, my fifth owning previous wanglers and commander
[/COLOR] also own/restored a 1972 Pontiac Lemans GT originally owned by my grandmom....39k original miles.

I've wondered about this place as well. It's not that far from me.

If anyone is interested, a few of us are heading to gulches Dec 27 and riding all day. They are having a night ride that will go to midnight that we will be riding on also.

$20 for a day of offroading, you cant beat it.

My cousin-in-law followed me around the park in a stock wrangler with 31's, he did fine, just scraped his diff a few times in some deep rutts. I think we went up to black trails and he was just fine. I didn't know my way around really so we stayed for only 3 hours and wound up doing the same stuff multiple times.

Definitely fun and they will have trails for you.

It is a privately owned park that is open year round (Not like a state forest or something). Check out their website for all the info and hours of operation.
