There is only one place to go legally in south carolina. Gulches ORV park in Waterloo, SC. Its near Laurens, east of Greenville.

Here is the website: http://www.gulchesorvpark.com/

I actually just made a post about gulches. I don't know anything about it but I want to go there. Trying to find some more inforamation out about how the trails are. I'm running a stock 2005 TJ with 31 x 10.5 tires and am curious if there is enough fun there for a pretty much stock jeep.

Gulches is in SC, there's also River Rock in Ga, Tellico and Uwharrie are both in NC.

Benjamin, there's a couple of jeep clubs near you if you're interested. Mid-Carolina's in Columbia and CSRA's in Augusta. You can find info on both groups at www.usjeeps.com. There's a group from Mid-Carolina going to Gulches this weekend and I think CSRA's also planning a trip there.

Awesome information. I was looking around for clubs. Only one I saw was in Charleston. I will have to check out the websites.

I saw gulches website. It looks like alot of fun. I'm planning to take a trip up there when it gets alittle warmer. I'm looking to do alittle off-roading however nothing extreme. Lol it's still to shiny and new. Figure I would check out their easy trails first.

Thanks again for the info

Gulches has a great range of trails with regards to difficulty. They have trails suitable for stock to anything beyond.

I went to Gulches in my 84 CJ with 31 AT's on a wet day and they would not let us in. They were nice and said it was too wet for us.

So you can't legally wheel in SC?
