Where to wheel in Jacksonville?

So I'll be getting stationed on MCAS New River next month and just was curious of some places to go wheelin around that area. Or if anyone on the base goes out maybe?

There is no where to offroad in J'ville. The Croatan only allows you on their gravel roads, all the good offroad, mud areas, are marked as no vehicles allowed. One local group is active and travels to Uwharrie and other areas to wheel: on facebook they are Carolina Trail Stalkers.
