Wheeling in Flat Rock, NC

I was talking with a guy a week ago that told me of a road out near the Carl Sandburg house. I believe the road he mentioned was pinnacle mountain road, but I'm not sure. Has anyone been wheeling out that way at all?

Been there several times. It's ok. If you have permission, Couch Mtn. is much better. PM me for some details. I'll go with you to either one!

Pinnacle Mtn is a waste of time unless you leave the road...a.k.a. trespassing. I've been asking as many people as I can about getting on Couch Mtn, but no real luck yet.

Darn. I really wish there were more places closer to go off-roading. I'm having to pay for part of my college so driving an hour to go wheeling is out of the question.

Found this video about couch mtn.

I used to go to pinnacle mtn road when I had my jeep. Had it stuck on that road a time or two when it had nice mud holes on the sides of the road. Not sure if they have that now but I will be on that road tomorrow, possibly.
