You can tackle any trail down there as long as you have some good friends to spot you and a some solid nerves, Daniels is a one way ride once you hit the switch backs, I'm waiting for April I think the Grand Wagoneer is gonna make and appearance this year.
fyi if you never been there are 4 ways to stay over night
1.camping on the trail(Free that's what im doing)
2.camping at a site(20.00 a night and your away from the trail)
3.staying at the crappy hotel(40.00+tax room could include bed bugs. lol)
4.staying at uwharrie cabins (100.00 night could sleep about 6 with blow up bed)
02 TJ locked 35" tires, 98 XJ DD

there are ways around most difficult obstacles. Stay off of Daniel if youre nervous. If youre really nervous stay off of Rocky Mtn and Dickey Bell too. Ill be there on the 1st with members of CORF. Join the link in my sig!
Sounds good i hope to already be moved into this house by then so that should work, if i go i will def bring small tent + sleeping bag to camp on trail for the free..but probably end up just putting the back 2 seats down and sleeping in the jeep...hopefully it will be good weather. Im excited but i will probably take it easy on the jeep ( first time at uwharrie, and i dont know if i will have leaky trans seal fixed. its not bad but i dont want to heat it up and have it start spraying, ill bring some extra fluid.) I havent driven the cherokee off road since installing the BB, shocks, and steering stabilizer i cant wait to see if it was good money spent
