Uwharrie - Sat - Beginner

How is Uwharrie on a Saturday? I haven't been on the 4wd trails in 25 years, so I'll be lost. Is it too busy on a Saturday for me to plod around and learn some of the trails?

I have camped at Badin and Arrowhead many times recently, so I am familiar with the service roads leading in, jut haven't been on the trails.

I mainly don't want to cause a problem (get in the way).

Nah it's never too crowded. You can always pull off the trail to let others pass, so no worries. I am taking a group of beginners or newer to the place on May 3rd. You are more than welcome to join us.

Hey man don't sweat that stuff on the trails! Most the people out their are there for a good time and ain't in know rush. I've never had an issue at URE so far and I've been stuck waiting a long time for people to clear out and people have been waiting on me to get up an obstacle. Just go have fun and take your time so you don't brake anything for know reason.

Keep in mind holidays are special events the trails will be way more crowded.

Could not have been a better day! Everyone was great! Rode Falls Dam several times, Wolfs Den a couple of times, rode Rocky Mount (made it up the rocky hill), part of Saw Mill and part of Slab Pile.

Thanks and absolutely. Back this weekend for camping and wheelin! The X did awesome and everyone I met was great. All trails done except for Dutch John and Danial. Need a guide for these two I would guess.
