My plan is to get there Friday afternoon around 1500 - 1600 hrs. I'll be on channel 4 on the CB. I can meet up with anyone coming in Friday evening at the outpost. Hey, it may help for folks to post a list of what they DON'T have so someone may be able to bring extra. I'm stocked up for me and my crew, but if anyone needs something, post up and we'll check the storage for surplus.
Common sense is surprisingly, not that common.
Bah...just a cyst! you'll be ship shape in no time
This cyst is literally called jeep disease. It's on my tail bone. The cut is about 3/4 of an inch wide and about an inch deep. They didn't close it up, so it's pretty much a hole right now. The thing was MASSIVE. I asked my doctor about the trip but he said no. I think I just might stack 5 pillows in the seat and be done with it and go .

"Jeep Seat Cyst" Yeah I thought that was funny too...the official name is a Pilonidal cyst....Yeah, I had the same thing. We also chose to leave mine open...almost 2" long, 1" wide and 1" deep. Expect it to take a good few months to heal...
The best advice I can give you is shower the hell outta it! If you dont have a removable shower head, get one! Blast it with water for a solid 3 minutes every night after the first week.
The next best advice...Maxi pads! Put one over it and the packing.
I had mine done on a Thur. and was back to work on Monday. Sore for a good week or so...but it gets better every day!
Best advantage to leaving it open is you never have to worry about it happening again! Good Choice! Hope it all goes well for ya!
Treat each of the day's problems as your dog would...
If you can't eat it or screw it, piss on it and walk away!
If in doubt...HIT THE GAS!! It may not always be the right decision, but it will end the suspense!
