Well I'm definitely not rolling in it, I just decided to spend my tax return cash on Jeep parts instead of another payment for an engagement ring.. an extra month won't kill her

I have a bad memory, but ok, I'll grab them. Part # or something so I can get the rebuild stuff?

Jake, what do the arms need for the rebuild? I may have the parts laying around.

Flex joint rebuild kits and new poly bushings. These have the old flex joints that didn't last for ****. The new ones (like you have) are made by Daystar and apparently have held up much better. The poly bushings are probably fine but should probably be replaced anyway.

Seth, you'll need the rebuild kits before you get the arms from me, I have the spanner wrench needed to tighten them.

Called them. They don't have rebuild kits for the old style joint.

The joint housing is the same, the bushings halves are just different. The new rebuild kits work, I used them to rebuild the arms Clay has in his Jeep.

They said the ball is a different size.

Did they say how long ago they changed it, because they've changed the joints before. They may have thought you were talking about an older joint. All I know is that I rebuilt Clay's arms a year ago, and to my knowledge they haven't changed the flex joints since then.

Another option is you can buy some Duroflex or Johnny Joints for these arms and reuse them later when you stretch.

They asked if it was the golden joint or if it had a ring something. I had no idea. I'm too broke for the other joints
